There's an inner dragon waiting to emerge, and in the process of self discovery, we learn the dragon's purpose is to subdue raging chaos inside by transforming that raw energy inclined to lower instincts. As the energy is refined, so is the dragon, which is now able to manifest higher level instincts into and onto the outer environment. The only way out is through.
